3D scanning and modeling can be an interesting option for renovations, MEP design (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) and information within a building information management (BIM)
We prefer to combine scanning with total station measurements of reference points and critical control points to achieve higher accuracy. The end result (a cleaned-up point cloud) can be modeled according to the wishes of the customer via suitable software such as Bricscad BIM, cloudworx, Revit,etc. This is labour-intensive drawing work that is often outsourced by various agencies, but that we also carry out in-house.
